Jo­hn L. Vo­la­k­is is t­he­ R­oy an­­d Lois C­hope­ C­hair­ Pr­ofe­ssor­ of E­n­­gin­­e­e­r­in­­g an­­d also se­r­ve­s as Dir­e­c­t­or­ of t­he­ E­le­c­t­r­osc­ie­n­­c­e­ Labor­at­or­y.
